Dave Hutchison, CFA
Dave is Partner & Financial Adviser at Triad. He develops comprehensive financial plans for our clients built around their values and goals. Dave believes that planning should be a process - not a one-time event.
Dave joined Triad in 2013 after serving with several larger investment firms in both Northern and Southern California. He partners with our clients to develop financial plans rooted in client values and goals. Dave leverages his professional network to help our clients build a team of advisors across multiple areas. He ultimately seeks to serve as a trusted counselor to our clients, helping them make good decisions with their money.
Dave and his wife Brooke have two sons, Charlie and Tommy. The family enjoys traveling together. In his free time, Dave enjoys swimming, biking and reading old books at night…mostly about the space program.
He has a B.A. from Macalester College and an MBA from USC’s Marshall School of Business. While a USC student, Dave was co-portfolio manager of a portion of the University’s endowment. He is a CFA charterholder and a member of both CFA Institute and CFA Society Orange County. Dave is also a member of CalOptima Health’s Investment Advisory Committee.
